    Excellent!
This is a great scifi/horror graphic novel! Very similar to Brian Vaughn's Paper Girls comic series, quite vivid and brutal. Westerfeld weaves an engaging story about two sisters who are dealing with different demons, trying to get by after a catastrophic event that changed their lives. I especially like the horror elements in Lexa's story. This graphic would have appeal to both boys and girls I feel. It would be more appropriate on the Flume list, as the protagonist is older, and high schoolers would probably connect with someone their own age better. Also, the themes of responsibility and providing for a younger sibling (and loosely the whole "get a job" thing) are issues older teens deal with a lot more than middle schoolers.
I would definitely support this as a Final 10 selection.

Was nominated previously, and did not make list because of lack of availability (which it now has). Below are reviews from last nomination:

I haven't read this one, but checking Amazon, it looks like availability will be an issue; Amazon has no new copies in stock so purchase from another vendor would be necessary, and Baker and Taylor sells only the British version. Also, only one library in the state has it in its collection. I'm voting no for the Flume based on that info. :)
